Membership in Illinois River Valley Orienteering Club goes a long way to providing these events in the Peoria-Bloomington/Normal-Springfield region. The club has been around since Spring of 2000. IRVOC is a Not-For-Profit 501-3C organization chartered by the United States Orienteering Federation. All fees and membership money go into keeping these events happening—charter fees, equipment repair and replacement, map production, event materials. We also provide material for groups promoting orienteering through demonstrations and presentations. This is all part of our by-laws—to provide opportunities to orienteer and educate others about the sport.
